4. Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Where OAKAN accepts an order for a custom or made-to-order product, the agreed specifications will be confirmed with the customer before production begins.
Customisation may include:

- Materials
- Finishes
- Colours
- Hardware
- Design elements
Once production has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
Additional costs may apply where changes are requested after an order has been confirmed.
5. Quotations & Orders
Quotations provided by OAKAN may be subject to an expiry date and may change where material costs, specifications, quantities, or other requirements change.
An order is considered confirmed once OAKAN has accepted the order and, where applicable, the required deposit or payment has been received.
For custom or made-to-order products, production may only begin once the required deposit has been received.
6. Pricing & Payment
Prices may change without notice before an order is confirmed.
The price applicable to an accepted order will be confirmed with the customer.
Payment methods and payment terms may vary depending on the product or service.
Where a deposit or full payment is required, production or delivery may be dependent on receipt of the required payment.
7. Delivery & Collection
Delivery options, costs, and estimated timeframes will be communicated to the customer where applicable.
Delivery times may vary depending on:
- Product availability
- Customisation requirements
- Production schedules
- Material availability
- Delivery location
- Circumstances outside OAKAN’s reasonable control
Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring suitable access is available for delivery and installation where required.
8. Installation
Where installation is included as part of an order, the customer must ensure that the installation area is reasonably accessible and ready for installation.
Additional charges may apply where installation requires work outside the agreed scope.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on oakan.co.za, including:
- OAKAN branding and logos
- Product photographs
- Product designs
- Graphics
- Text
- Illustrations
- Website layouts
- Original design concepts
is owned by or licensed to OAKAN unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit OAKAN’s intellectual property without prior written permission.
Where a customer commissions a custom design, ownership and permitted use of the design will depend on the agreement between OAKAN and the customer.
10. Customer-Supplied Materials
If you provide OAKAN with photographs, designs, measurements, logos, artwork, or other materials for the purpose of creating a product or providing a service, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission to provide those materials.
The customer remains responsible for ensuring that supplied materials do not infringe another person’s intellectual property or legal rights.
11. Website Availability
OAKAN aims to keep the website available and functioning properly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, OAKAN will not be responsible for losses arising from:
